Telegraph Trail System (south) is basically right in downtown Durango, making it a perfect place for a quick getaway! This network of loop trails will take you on switchbacks in and out of scenic canyons and along paths with low-lying desert scrub lining the trail. You'll also hike into wide open fields that showcase the mountains that surround you!<br />
These trails are multi-use and very popular with mountain bikers, so please share the trail!
The Sale Barn trail head is located across from the Home Depot on US550/160 (S Camino Del Rio) at the Southern end of Durango. There is a sign at the turnoff from the highway onto a frontage road. Pull into the gravel parking lot up the hill on the right.
